In theory,nanobubbles can stably exist with a lifetime of microseconds at most,but numerous experimental observations demonstrate that nanobubbles in bulk solution can be stable from hours to weeks.Although various conjectures on the stability mechanism of bulk nanobubbles,such as the contaminant mechanism,skin mechanism,surface zeta potential mechanism,are proposed,there has not yet been a unified conclusion.Since bulk nanobubbles show great potential in a wide spectrum of applications and are relevant to a number of unsolved questions on cavitation and nucleation,the debate over their stability mechanisms has been active.In the past,extensive studies have been carried out to understand the mechanism of nanobubble stability,and important insights have already been provided.This paper will provide a brief overview of our current understanding of the unexpected stability of bulk nanobubbles.  相似文献

Semiconductors grown by the solution-processed method have shown low-cost,facile fabrication process and comparable performance.However,there are many reasons why it is difficult to achieve high quality films.For example,lattice constant mismatch is one of the problems when photovoltaic devices made of organ metallic perovskites.In this work,MAPbBrMA=CH3NH3^+perovskites single crystals grown on the surface of MAPbBr2.5 CI0.5 perovskites single crystals via liquid epitaxial growth method is demonstrated.It is found that when the lattice constants of the two perovskite single crystals are matched,another crystal can be grown on the surface of one crystal by epitaxial growth.The whole epitaxy growth process does not require high heating temperature and long heating time.X-ray diffraction method is used to prove the lattice plane of the substrate and the epitaxial grown layer.A scanning electron microscope is used to measure the thickness of the epitaxial layer.Compared with perovskite-based photodetectors without epitaxial growth layer,perovskite-based photodetectors with epitaxial growth layer have lower dark current density and higher optical responsibility.  相似文献

It is believed that there are more fundamental gauge symmetries beyond those described by the Standard Model of particle physics. The scales of these new gauge symmetries are usually too high to be reachable by particle colliders. Considering that the phase transition (PT) relating to the spontaneous breaking of new gauge symmetries to the electroweak symmetry might be strongly first order, we propose considering the stochastic gravitational waves (GW) arising from this phase transition as an indirect way of detecting these new fundamental gauge symmetries. As an illustration, we explore the possibility of detecting the stochastic GW generated from the PT of \begin{document}$ {\bf{B}}-{\bf{L}}$\end{document} in the space-based interferometer detectors. Our study demonstrates that the GW energy spectrum is reachable by the LISA, Tianqin, Taiji, BBO, and DECIGO experiments only for the case where the spontaneous breaking of \begin{document}$ {\bf{B}}-{\bf{L}}$\end{document} is triggered by at least two electroweak singlet scalars.  相似文献

DNA methylation at cytosine/guanine dinucleotide islands (CpGIs) is the most prominent epigenetic modification in prokaryotic and eukaryotic genomes. DNA methyltransferases (MTases) are responsible for genomic methylation, and their aberrant activities are closely associated with various diseases including cancers. However, the specific and sensitive detection of multiple DNA MTases has remained a great challenge due to the specificity of the methylase substrate and the rareness of methylation-sensitive restriction endonuclease species. Here, we demonstrate for the first time the cytosine-5 methylation-directed construction of a Au nanoparticle (AuNP)-based nanosensor for simultaneous detection of multiple DNA MTases at the single-molecule level. We used the methyl-directed endonuclease GlaI to cleave the site-specific 5-methylcytosine (5-mC). In the presence of CpG and GpC MTases (i.e., M.SssI and M.CviPI), their hairpin substrates are methylated at cytosine-5 to form the catalytic substrates for GlaI, respectively, followed by simultaneous cleavage by GlaI to yield two capture probes. These two capture probes can hybridize with the Cy5/Cy3–signal probes which are assembled on the AuNPs, respectively, to form the double-stranded DNAs (dsDNAs). Each dsDNA with a guanine ribonucleotide can act as the catalytic substrate for ribonuclease (RNase HII), inducing recycling cleavage of signal probes to liberate large numbers of Cy5 and Cy3 molecules from the AuNPs. The released Cy5 and Cy3 molecules can be simply quantified by total internal reflection fluorescence (TIRF)-based single-molecule imaging for simultaneous measurement of M.SssI and M.CviPI MTase activities. This method exhibits good specificity and high sensitivity with a detection limit of 2.01 × 10−3 U mL−1 for M.SssI MTase and 3.39 × 10−3 U mL−1 for M.CviPI MTase, and it can be further applied for discriminating different kinds of DNA MTases, screening potential inhibitors, and measuring DNA MTase activities in human serum and cell lysate samples, holding great potential in biomedical research, clinical diagnosis, drug discovery and cancer therapeutics.

Lens-less Fourier-transform holography has been actively studied because of its simple optical structure and its single-shot recording.However,a low-contrast interferogram between the reference and object waves limits its signal to noise ratio.Here,multi-reference lens-less Fourier-transform holography with a Greek-ladder sieve array is proposed in the experiment and demonstrated effectively to improve the signal to noise ratio.The key technique in our proposed method is a Greek-ladder sieve array,which acts as not only a wave-front modulator but also a beam splitter.With advantages of the common path,single shot,and no need for a lens,this system has enormous potential in imaging and especially in extreme ultraviolet and soft X-ray holography.  相似文献

Device grade quantum dots (QDs) require QDs ensembles to retain their original superior optical properties as in solution. QDs with thick shells are proven effective in suppressing the inter-dot interaction and preserving the emission properties for QDs solids. However, lattice strain–induced defects may form as the shell grows thicker, resulting in a notable photoluminescence quenching. Herein, a well-type CdxZn1−xS/CdSe/CdyZn1−yS QDs is proposed, where ternary alloys CdZnS are adopted to match the lattice parameter of intermediate CdSe by separately adjusting the x and y parameters. The resultant thick-shell Cd0.5Zn0.5S/CdSe/Cd0.73Zn0.27S QDs reveal nonblinking properties with a high PL QY of 99% in solution and 87% in film. The optimized quantum dot light-emitting diodes (QLEDs) exhibit a luminance of 31547.5 cd m−2 at the external quantum efficiency maximum of 21.2% under a bias of 4.0 V. The shell thickness shows great impact on the degradation of the devices. The T50 lifetime of the QLEDs with 11.2 nm QDs reaches 251 493 h, which is much higher than that of 6.5 and 8.4 nm QDs counterparts. The performances of the well-type thick-shell QLEDs are comparable to state-of-the-art devices, suggesting that this type of QDs is a promising candidate for efficient optoelectronic devices.  相似文献

Naphthalimide‐phthalimide derivatives (NDPDs) have been synthesized and combined with an iodonium salt, N‐vinylcarbazole, amine or 2,4,6‐tris(trichloromethyl)‐1,3,5‐triazine to produce reactive species (i.e., radicals and cations). These generated reactive species are capable of initiating the cationic polymerization of epoxides and/or the radical polymerization of acrylates upon exposure to very soft polychromatic visible lights or blue lights. Compared with the well‐known camphorquinone based systems used as references, the novel NDPD based combinations employed here demonstrate clearly higher efficiencies for the cationic polymerization of epoxides under air as well as the radical polymerization of acrylates. Remarkably, one of the NDPDs (i.e., NDPD2) based systems is characterized by an outstanding reactivity. The structure/reactivity/efficiency relationships of the investigated NDPDs were studied by fluorescence, cyclic voltammetry, laser flash photolysis, electron spin resonance spin trapping, and steady state photolysis techniques. Novel triarylamine‐based coordination‐saturated aryl Pd(II) halide complexes ligated by PEt3, PCy3, and P(o‐tol)3 were successfully synthesized by direct oxidative addition of aryl halide to the corresponding Pd(0) precursors. Suzuki–Miyaura coupling polymerization of 2‐(7‐halide‐9,9‐dioctylfluoren‐2‐yl)?1,3,2‐dioxaborinane with these Pd(II) complexes as initiators was investigated for the synthesis of poly(fluorene)s with triarylamine end group. Pd(II) complexes with PCy3 or P(o‐tol)3 exhibited catalytic activity and realized the catalyst‐transfer polycondensation at 75 °C and room temperature, respectively, while the polymerization using Pd(II) catalyst ligated by PEt3 did not proceed, which indicated that the bulky phosphine ligands could facilitate the reductive elimination and further promote the polymerization. In addition, the dimeric Pd(II) complex with P(o‐tol)3 can convert into monomeric Pd(II) intermediate with an open coordination site, which had a higher activity. The end groups of the afforded polyfluorene were analyzed by matrix‐assisted laser desorption ionization time‐of‐flight (MALDI‐TOF) mass spectrometry, in which the Ar/H end groups are indicative of the catalyst‐transfer polymerization. © 2015 Wiley Periodicals, Inc. Year-round measurements of the mass concentration and optical properties of fine aerosols(PM2.5) from June 2009 to May 2010 at an urban site in Beijing were analyzed.The annual mean values of the PM2.5 mass concentration,absorption coefficient(Ab),scattering coefficient(Sc) and single scattering albedo(SSA)at 525 nm were 67±66μg/m3,64 ±62 Mm-1,360 ±405 Mm-1 and 0.82 ±0.09,respectively.The bulk mass absorption efficiency and scattering efficiency of the PM2.5 at 525 nm were 0.78 m2/g and 5.55 m2/g,respectively.The Ab and Sc showed a similar diurnal variation with a maximum at night and a minimum in the afternoon,whereas SSA displayed an opposite diurnal pattern.Significant increases in the Ab and Sc were observed in pollution episodes caused by the accumulation of pollutants from both local and regional sources under unfavorable weather conditions.Aerosol loadings in dust events increased by several times in the spring,which had limited effects on the Ab and Sc due to the low absorption and scattering efficiency of dust particles.The frequency of haze days was the highest in autumn because of the high aerosol absorption and scattering under unfavorable weather conditions.The daily PM2.5concentration should be controlled to a level lower than 64 μg/m3 to prevent the occurrence of haze days according to its exponentially decreased relationship with visibility.  相似文献
